Unpact

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

Unpact ("we", "us") is a task capture and planning service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what's needed to run the service, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.

Information we collect

Microphone access is used only while you are actively recording a memo. Notification and alarm permissions are used only for alerts you enable on a supported device.

How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising.

Service providers

To provide the service, limited data is processed by providers acting on our behalf:

Data retention and deletion

Voice memos, their recordings, and their transcripts are deleted automatically two weeks after capture. Tasks, habits, and plans created from them are kept until you delete them or your account.

Your other data is retained while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account inside the app, which permanently removes your account, memos, recordings, transcripts, tasks, habits, plans, and lists. You can also request deletion by emailing support@unpact.app. See How to delete your account.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable safeguards.

Children

Unpact is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and revise the date above.
